English Learner Programs

At Kimbrough Elementary School, our programs for English Learners promote:

  • Increased opportunities for English language development over time.
  • A school wide community of learners in which all students and teachers work and learn together.

Students will be deployed for English language development (ELD) daily based on English language level/need.

Throughout the school year the regular classroom will have students with mixed levels of English language levels to provide models during the instructional day and the greatest opportunity to practice language skills with other students.
